Rules (READ BEFORE POSTING!)

We're rather laid-back here, but we still need to have rules, which are as follows:

1. Posts welcoming warez, piracy, hacking, cracking, spamming, attacks against networks or servers, pornography, racial hatred, crimes against humanity, inappropriate activities on the servers, or any other actions which violate any applicable laws, aren't allowed. Any forum which contains texts, links, pictures, animations, videos or any other content recognized as illegal will be deleted without notice or warning.

I know the warez and piracy bit harshes some of our styles, but that's Forumotion's rule, not mine. In fact, except for "Posts welcoming," tht was ripped straight from Forumotion's terms of service. You talk about this, you put the entire forum at risk of being deleted, and I won't hesitate to ban your ass back to the stone age.

Addittionally, I know some of you may want to discuss porn or sex. Talk about that face-to-face, not here.

2. Profanity is allowed, but keep it light. Nobody wants to hear a swear a sentence, and nobody wants to read it either. Addittionally, censor your F-bombs. That's it.

3. Please try yo use proper spelling and grammar. We won't nitpick every misspelling or missed period, but dammit, that shift key's there for a reason. And yes, l337-speak is tolerable, but don't overdo it on the complexity, no 1337 letters/numbers composed of two characters or more with the exceptions of (), |< and |). Light netspeak os alsoOK.

4. Be sociable. Be honorable. Observe Wheaton's law, don't be a dick. Don't troll, or spam outside the Dancefloor. Don't hack, or advertise, or any of that other internet nastiness. The punishments range, but do it enough, and you'll get whapped with the banhammer. This includes all forms of harrassment.

5. Don't go off-topic. That just makes more work for the janitor.

6. Don't impersonate Forumotion or Underground Lounge staff, including mods, admins, and characters. This will get you banned on sight.

7. Keep your Spam in the dancefooor. The janitor doesn't want to clean up your pseudo-meat when you leave it all over the place, and he may just bonk you with his pushbroom. It makes a nice hammer, it does.

8. These rules also apply to the chatbox.

9. Ban-evasion and defying the staff is not tolerated. Seriously. Even joking about it will cause the banhammer to fall.

And of course, Rule Zero: What the guy in charge says, goes. And that guy's me. Got it? Good.
