Alternate universes? Empty Alternate universes?

Are there alternate universes? I believe that there are an infinite number of alternate universes, each one different, some in minor ways, some with major differences, such as differet laws of physics, entire Kindoms of life, suchas the Fungal Kingdom, never developing, all life being carbon-based, ETC.

Iwould also think that alternateuiverses appear in this one, surfacing throug works of fiction, and tat one peron or object in on universe may be composed of several in another.

Your thoughts on it? Anyone?
